Creative Fun and Easy Date Night

Important: This date does involve you going out for part of it, but don’t worry you still can wear your comfortable clothes if you would like!

Prayer:

"God, thank you for food and for the convenience of restaurants. As we drive around town tonight help us to be grateful for the place where we live. We pray that you will move in this community, and that we will see you at work here. Thank you for the time we have together today. Help us to continue to study each other and to invest in our marriage. Bless our conversation tonight and help us to grow our marriage."

Activity #2: Once you are back home play these 3 minute-it-to-win-it bedroom games.

Game #1: Junk in the Trunk

Materials:

  • Empty tissue box

  • Ping pong balls

  •  Belt

How to play:

Attach the empty box to the belt and secure around the waist of the first player, with the tissue opening facing away from your body. Place ping pong balls inside the tissue box. Start timer and shake your booty! Count how many ping pong balls are left in the box after one minute. Switch and let Player 2 have a turn. The person who shakes the most balls out of the box in one minute wins the round!

Game #2: Take it off

Materials:

  • Multiple items of clothing

How to play:

Each player puts on 12 pieces of clothing. Get creative - scarf, hat, extra socks, etc. Player 1 will go first. Start the timer and see how many pieces you can take off of your spouse using only one hand! After one minute, switch and see who can undress their spouse the fastest!

Game #3: Cotton Ball Tickle

Materials:

  • Cotton ball

  • Straw

How to play:

One spouse lays on their stomach on the bed. Place a cotton ball on the back of their neck. Start the timer. The other player, using only the straw, must blow the cotton ball down the spouse’s back, all the way down to their toes. If your cotton ball falls off the body, start over! Switch positions and let player 2 give it a go. The spouse who gets the farthest in a minute wins!
